When I started to think about the 10 stages of genocide, I knew I wanted to focus on discrimination since it was and still is a big issue in the world. Discrimination is seen a lot today especially between law enforcement and criminals that are of color. Discrimination is defined as prejudicial treatment of different categories of people especially due to race, age, and gender. This is political power to deny the rights of other groups. This relates to the stages of genocide because it is predicatible but not inexorable. |
